Jesus’ Nod

No awards and no pride

Stop clapping

I need somewhere to recharge

God I need your loving arms

Every day I aim for improvement but miss

Lazy so much so tired of raising fists

Tired of folding arms feeling I’m not serious enough snoozing every alarm

*

Please don’t leave me to myself you know my sense of direction is trash, eyes get wide crash after crash

Sad I didn’t think before wages paid, look at these disgusting disturbing mistakes I have made

God this isn’t a game but I’ve been playing, get mad when I’m played a familiar saying we reap what we sow

Forget it sometimes because the harvest comes in slow, it was summer yesterday but today my heart is covered in snow

Pray for your brothers and sisters you never know who is feeling lower than low.
