Cherry Chair

Underneath, I find more changes necessary, I’ve been selfish, still got a me problem, Jesus Christ has every answer, time to train, in a world saying love thy self and do as thou wilt, thicker than a quilt, over compromised airwaves, left to yourself in the ending, locked door hallway.

That aged echo

You can do better

Saturate within every thought

Far from discouragement

A gentle push, within, a smile.

Years are departing

And childish things go in a box to reminisce of the journey

God, you haven’t forsaken the deserted

Even as my loved ones die and others recede

May you hold my trembling hands to the end.
