My window

Has seen a lot of quiet tears

Attended a lot of quiet prayers

Washing rain brought it all home

Dabbed my eyes until signs gone

My window, my window when it’s frigid

Holds back memories

Before lines and wrinkles just dimples

Just probabilities

Some sturdy some rotted

The gentle kiss a breeze gives

To a worried face’s fears

And the fresh smell of rain reset various interior counters
