Same building but divided seating,
Same book yet neglected healing,
Maybe a moment of silence and sobbing will erase our hand’s desire to choke one another.
Blame tossed back and forth, pride plays with burning starch until everyone conforms,
No fingerprints, no one guilty, so many fingers pointing ruptured eyes a result,
Everyone sees darkness biting heads consuming brothers and sisters convinced God approves.
Feast until no soft heart remains, can’t stop hate with hate, put out fires with more flames, unchecked anger a razorwire belt.
