Bridge We Jumped From In ’96

She better not stop swimming to the surface,

Almost there, although, it seems miles above,

I pray she knows we are waiting for her return,

Opened eyes but I know they truly burn,

River water and tears mix in desperation,

Pleading and begging and yelling and screaming please come back though her arms are tired.

She’s so tired of fighting,

Don’t get carried away,

Honey, you can rest up here we’ll drive you home just get here.

Swimming in cares.

Surrounded by more than she can fight.

Swimming in six feet deep cares.

Don’t let them become a grave.
