Remember The Gate

Almost died on the right side of the road

Chest pains and pressure as rain slapped my face

Nothing like being stranded after a promise

To remember isolation exists

I could have begged for a ride

Rather strangle myself.

Never forget how it feels when rain is pouring on your head

No one to call, phone lines and hope dead

And you’ll remember just how deep darkened hallways are

Distance to everyone further than farthest far.
