Bittersweet Bedroom

Sick but no doctor has a cure

Tears perfectly filtered by regrets

And she’s gone but her hair is everywhere

Playing cool, only breaking down when no one can hear the regrets

Wish I had a reasonable offer to give instead she’s never coming back

Don’t want anyone else, seems like it will never be helped

Better get this out of sour stomach

Starved butterflies and a engagement ring

Trade for a boat, this ocean of farewell, vast

Back into my throat it’s hard to swallow

Hard to breathe, lowered vitals

And I swear I’m dying, but knowing these are growing pains helps

Empty bed argues, screams she’s missing and I agree, bittersweet endings never a favorite.
