You’ll Drive Slower

Without a bubble holding back inspiration we traveled faster and further, broken pavement no challenge to nature we saw swords in flowers heaven in smoked plants chasing opportunity

Look over, I’m still here and then we switch, afraid, what if these brutal streets stress us until rules dry our eyes, maybe we should do our own things together

Break bottles we held close until a visit to the coast opened new feelings broke ceilings we swore even jackhammers would be a mistake until sunbeams brought bright change

This day, we’ll drive slower to appreciate what we have because, regrets sting and burn cutting off eyes to lovers, leave me alone I want to die in pieces peacefully not meant still sent.
