Earphones In Public

Going back to the notebook

Unknown writers dying without a second look

Heart saying maybe become dedicated

Surely then words may have a chance to make it

Another page crumbled for a full trash can

They’ll be thirsty after free speech gets banned

Propaganda, warnings via memoranda

I’m no one, you’re nobody

That’s why I used to smoke joints with King James Bible pages

While dreaming of advancement during different stages

Thinking surely poverty yeah all its cages would falter

Understand good people die unknown at holy altars

Plus no discovery living in a place where hatred is complimentary

Last name halting first rudimentary

Back to the notebook for a different look.

I’m posting for Jason

I’m posting for Mary

I’m posting to tell Malachi to hear me after my death

Letters are all I have left

Currently worthless words expose fighting feeling bereft

I’m playing dumb with my words they say boy you ain’t playing

Staying while turning a wheel of boring day to day

Well read a couple notes then I’ll be on my way

Truly yours passing away in darkened corners of rain

Writing thousands of poems for an effect multiplied by zero

Unqualified opposite of hero dear notebook.
